Amanda L. Holliday, J.D., C.P.A
Amanda began working at Spring Creek Barbeque in Arlington, Texas in 1996 when she was 15 years old. David Grissom, currently a Regional Director with Spring Creek in Houston, was the Store Partner in Arlington when Amanda worked there, and remembers her fondly. “Amanda was an All-Star, and always went above and beyond to help out guests and fellow employees. Even as a teenager, it was obvious that she was destined to be successful in life. She was always well organized, had a plan and had leadership skills that helped her accomplish her goals. After so many years, it’s difficult to remember every employee, but it’s easy to remember Amanda because she made such a positive impact in the store”.
Amanda graduated from Martin High School a year early in 1998, and then went on to Texas State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Accounting in May 2001.
She received her J.D. from Texas Tech University in May 2004 (Summa Cum Laude) where she graduated 7th in her class, and was the Executive Managing Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review.
Amanda was hired by The Blum Firm in Fort Worth, Texas immediately out of law school and made partner in 2012.
She is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and has been named a “Texas Rising Star Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters (2008-2014). She has also been recognized as one of Tarrant County’s Top Attorneys in Probate, Estates and Trusts by Fort Worth, Texas magazine (2010-2014).
